Six trainees were accepted from six countries, among the SEAFDEC (Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center) member countries, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, for our training program from October 1 to October 10.
They took lectures on outline of inland fisheries in Gifu Prefecture and GIAHS “ Ayu of the Nagara River System,” visited fisheries cooperatives and aquaculture farms of Ayu, rainbow trout, catfish and varicolored carp and participated in practical training on cultivation of testicular sperm, etc.
