By requests from JICA Chubu, nine trainees were accepted from nine countries of Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Iraq, Cambodia, Philippines and Myanmar for our training program from July 25 to July 30.
They took lectures on outline of inland fisheries in Gifu Prefecture and GIAHS “ Ayu of the Nagara River System,” visited fisheries cooperatives and aquaculture farms of Ayu, rainbow trout and catfish, and participated in practical training on cultivation of testicular sperm, etc.
