We received 2 trainees from each of Republic of Nepal and Kyrgyz Republic, (a total of four) for our training program from 13th November to 22nd November.
The training program included lectures and practices regarding the egg
collection, fertilization method and the related studies to gynogenesis
technology of the fish species (a sort of trout) that was highly requested
in both countries, the lectures on GIAHS “Ayu of the Nagara River System”
and production technology for feminization of ayu as well as visits to
fisheries cooperatives, ayu hatchery facilities and so on.
